Together with the launch of the "Dragon's Gift" update in Dota 2, a new major patch called "Fallen Crown" was announced, where the previously revealed hero, Ring Master, might make an appearance.
The developers made this announcement on the official Dota 2 website.
"We are actively working on an upcoming update called 'Fallen Crown,' and we can't wait to show you the results of our efforts. We looked at the calendar and noticed that it's been several weeks since the Frostivus update, so we decided not to keep you waiting for new content until the release of 'Fallen Crown'"
While Valve did not specify the release date for the next update, it is clear that it will not be earlier than March 7, as the festive event celebrating the Chinese New Year will last until that date.
It is noteworthy that the last hero added to Dota 2,
Muerta, was introduced on March 7. However, it remains uncertain whether Valve will choose the same date for the introduction of Ring Master or opt for a different date for the update with the new hero.
As a reminder, Dota 2 received a new festive treasure and the "Dragon's Gift" holiday event recently.
