Valve didn't make a special gift for Team Liquid after their victory at TI13, unlike the gesture they made for Team Spirit last year

Valve did not make any changes to Dota 2 after Team Liquid victory at The International 2024, unlike the incredible gesture they made for Team Spirit last year.

After Team Spirit remarkable victory at TI12, Valve changed the name of one of the heroes to honor the team. For a while after The International, Spirit Breaker was temporarily renamed Team Spirit Breaker. This was how the developers celebrated the exceptional performance of the two-time world champions.

However, this year, Valve did not provide a similar gift to the winners. Given the name Team Liquid, they could have associated it with Morphling, Kunkka, or Tidehunter, but this did not happen. Instead, a traditional championship bundle with TI13 winner stickers was added to the game, and the team was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Previously, Team Liquid set a unique record in the history of The International, something that no other champions have achieved.
