Team Liquid set a unique record in the history of The International

Team Liquid became the first team in The International's history to not lose a single map in the playoffs of the Dota 2 World Championship, setting a new record.

Team Liquid's achievement is truly unique, as all previous TI champions had lost at least one map in the final stages of the tournament. Despite not being considered clear favorites, Team Liquid managed to accomplish this feat. They won every map starting from the very first day of the playoffs at The International 2024.

Additionally, Aydin "Insania" Sarkohi, support player for Team Liquid, also set a separate record following his team’s victory at the Dota 2 World Championship.
