Valve changed Rubick Arcana after the release of Ringmaster, adding a unique effect when copying the new hero's ability.

It is noted that Rubick Arcana now adds a unique green glow effect to the box when stealing Ringmaster's Escape Act ability in Dota 2 matchmaking. However, fans are dissatisfied with the update, with many pointing out that the developers only repainted the box green and did not put much effort into it.

Others expressed a desire to see more drastic changes to Rubick Arcana to make the appearance of stolen abilities from opponents more unique and in line with the hero's look.
