Valve opted to celebrate the 1st of April in Dota 2 by making some abrupt changes to the game. The first change was replacing the exclamation mark with a question mark as the player denies a creep.
Likely, this change was added together with a minor patch the game received.
Going forward, when a player denies a creep, a question mark instead of an exclamation mark shows up. This has left a number of players shocked, however, analysts claim that everyone has come to expect this from Valve, and because of this, it is likely a pointer to a very common practice in the pro scene where esports players type a “?” in the chat after they win a fight or match.
Before,
Team Spirit had noted an interesting point regarding Patch 7.38c that was missed by Valve.
