Counter-Strike 2 players have begun experiencing mass account bans in Counter-Strike 2 following an update to the VAC Live system.
Insider Gabe Follower provided more details on his personal X page.
After Valve updated the VAC Live anti-cheat system, users began reporting bans en masse. Some players complained that they were banned immediately after the first or second round of a match. The system interrupts matches in real time and bans accounts that show clear signs of cheating.
As a reminder, a bug was previously discovered in CS2 that allowed players to spy on their opponents.
