Sherlock as he is known was banned by Valve for violating the rules of Dota 2 as well as boosting MMR using bots. Due to this, he even managed to surpass Alimzhan "Watson" Islambekov and take the top spot in the European leaderboard.
The booster’s nickname vanished from the ranking on official Dota 2 website.
This account was involved in bot matches for at least thirteen days for purposes of MMR boosting. This manipulation allowed him to get to the very summit and even be number one temporarily. Moreover, Sherlock got a ban for using bot accounts to raise his own.
Remember that Watson previously achieved a record in Dota 2; he became the first player with more than 14,000 MMR points.
