Valve banned 960 thousand accounts connected with farming bots in CS2 and all this was done in just one day
This was said by one of the game developers on Reddit
“Yesterday we banned 960,000 bot accounts doing farming. This was the result of an investigation in which your reports helped a lot. Thanks”
According to the developer almost a million farmer accounts were banned. It’s possible that this was a record wave of bans by Valve. Many fans were surprised by the number of blocks because it’s almost equal to the game’s online
The developer noted that such a large-scale cleanup was also possible thanks to player reports which helped find and punish the violators, urging to continue sending reports about suspicious activity in matches
