Valve announced the prize pool for The International 2025

Valve, along with a new Dota 2 update, added a new in-game tab announcing The International 2025, where they revealed the starting prize pool — $1.6 million.

The developers chose not to break tradition and kept the initial amount unchanged. It's worth noting that the prize pool will grow over time, although the exact method remains unclear. Many believe the prize money will increase through the release of the 2025 Compendium. Last year, it helped raise the total pool to $2.7 million.

However, rumors suggest that Valve might bring back the Battle Pass for The International 2025, which could significantly boost contributions and grow the TI14 prize pool.

As a reminder, legendary player Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi may return to compete with Nigma Galaxy at The International 2025.
