CS2 developers announced that Train will be removed from the competitive map pool on January 19 together with the end of the third Premier season and Anubis will return instead of this map.
This was reported on the official X page.
This news seriously upset and even angered most CS2 pro players. The reason is that Train had been available in competitive mode for only about half a year and is already being removed even though the map had not had time to become boring. Many also pointed out that they are unhappy with the replacement and believe that a different map should have been removed instead rather than bringing back Anubis.
Official CS2 map pool:
Anubis
Dust2
Overpass
Ancient
Nuke
Mirage
Inferno
Recall that earlier the most popular game on Steam was named beating Dota 2.
