Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen stated that Tobias "Tobi" Buchner played for
Tundra Esports as a stand-in, which is the reason why the team decided to freshen up the roster by signing Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev.
The corresponding comment on the latest changes in the lineup, the
Tundra Esports midranger made during the post-match interview at DreamLeague Season 23. The broadcast is being streamed on the tournament operator's official YouTube channel.
"Tobi was simply our stand-in all the way through ESL One Birmingham. After the event, we decided to revamp our lineup. We discussed who we wanted to have on the team. In the end we decided we wanted to try someone else, so we called RAMZES. That's it."
Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev changed not only the roster, but also the position in the team, as the cyber athlete had been playing as a carry for a long time before that.
Tundra Esports has already played the debut match in the updated lineup, gaining a confident victory over
Shopify Rebellion with a score of 2 : 0.
Recall that earlier Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev made a joke about
Shopify Rebellion's offliner after beating his lineup.
