The organizers of Riyadh Masters 2024 fined
Tundra Esports $8,000 after their match against Entity.
This was reported by Edgar "9Class" Naltakyan on his Telegram channel.
He did not specify the exact reason for the fine. However, users speculated that the fine might have been issued for trash talk directed at
Entity after the match, which was caught on the official tournament broadcast. Nonetheless, it is not precisely known what 9Class shouted at the opponents.
There is also a version suggesting that it happened because the club did not remove the betting company's name from their players' nicknames. Neither
Entity nor
Tundra Esports have commented on the situation yet.
It’s worth noting that earlier, Quinn "Quinn" Callahan also caused a stir with his behavior after defeating
Team Falcons.
