Tundra Esports have thanked Martin “Saksa” Sazdov for replacing Edgar “9Class” Naltakian at The International 2024, calling the player a good standin.
A statement to that effect was released on
Tundra Esports' official Telegram page.
“Thank you for what a great standin you are, a good friend and teammate, and for answering the call for help at the last minute!
You will always be a part of the #TundraTribe.”

Many analysts praised Martin “Saksa” Sazdov's performance at TI13, noting his high skills on meta heroes, but added that the replacement did not benefit the roster, as the team originally prepared for the tournament with Edgar “9Class” Naltakian, with whom the team had much better interaction.
Edgar “9Class” Naltakian was unable to play at The International 2024 due to visa issues.
Tundra Esports players reported that they learned about the replacement just two days before the tournament.
Recall that earlier streamer Alexander “Nix” Levin commented on Martin “Saksa” Sazdov's play in
Tundra Esports, comparing him to a regular member of the lineup.
