Alexander “Nix” Levin believes that Martin “Saksa” Sazdov, although he has good mechanical skills in Dota 2, performs much worse than Edgar “9Class” Naltakian in
Tundra Esports, as the team's regular player acts as a link between the rest of the team.
The streamer shared a relevant opinion in a private Twitch broadcast.
“Very faded looking Saksa on this team. They looked much livelier with 9Class. I didn't see a single quality performance from Saksa. He's just an average normal button presser and line stander, but how much more awesome 9Class is than he is as a player. Especially for this team. 9Class is really the guy who glued the unglueable together.”
Martin “Saksa” Sazdov has been an inactivated member of
Tundra Esports since last September, yet joined the main roster for The International 2024 due to Edgar “9Class” Naltakian's visa issues. Players in the lineup admitted that they were counting on the situation to be resolved until the last minute and practiced with their regular teammate after learning of the replacement just two days away from the tournament.
Tundra Esports successfully defeated
Team Falcons in the first match of the top set of the playoffs, which secured the team a spot in the final stage of the tournament, on the first day of which the team fell to the bottom set after losing to
Gaimin Gladiators.
Recall that earlier Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnaryov spoke in detail about the situation with the substitution in the lineup.
