Tundra Esports announced that Matthew “Whitemon” Filmon will miss The International 2025 due to visa issues.
The announcement was made on X.
“Unfortunately, Tundra will compete at The International 2025 without Matthew ‘Whitemon’ Filmon. This is due to unforeseen complications in the visa application process.”
The team emphasized that every effort was made to resolve the visa issue, but this did not change the situation. Nevertheless, the team will try to adapt to playing with stand-in Tobias “Tobi” Buchner, who has been training for The International 2025 with the Tundra Esports roster over the past few days.
"We made every effort to get Matthew a visa, but circumstances beyond Tundra and Matthew's control led us to this situation.
The team will adapt and move forward, and we would like to thank FISSURE Universe 5 champion Tobias “Tobi” Buchner for agreeing to help us on such short notice.
He has been preparing for the tournament with the team for the past few days. We are ready for TI and ready to overcome all difficulties once again."
