Remco “Crystallis” Arets,
Tundra Esports carry, called the 7.39c patch to Dota 2 empty, as, in his opinion, it changed almost nothing, only adding or removing one unit of armor or damage for a number of heroes.
The cyber athlete revealed this during his post-match interview at PGL Wallachia Season 5.
"I've been reading it. I don't think he changed much again. There are some interesting points that will make the characters change a little bit. But honestly, it's a pretty empty patch. It would be a lot more fun if they put in something really interesting, not just “+/-1 to armor” or, for example, “+0.25% to spell damage” for Razor. It feels so-so when there's nothing special or fun to use. It's just... why?"
Crystallis noted that the letter patch had little to no impact on Dota 2's balance and expressed confusion over the appropriateness of its release. In his opinion, the 7.39c update lacks novelty and interesting elements for matches.
Nevertheless, users have already discovered an interesting nuance with
Visage - his sammons are now able to single-handedly destroy Tormentor.
