Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Khertek, offlaner of
Aurora, said that an MMR range of 2–3 thousand is completely normal for players who do not constantly grind rating.
He shared this during a Twitch stream.
“It’s normal to have 2–3k MMR if you’re not sitting there and playing 10 pubs every single day for 10 years”
TORONTOTOKYO believes that 3k MMR is not a low rating, but a perfectly fine number for those who don’t grind ranks. According to him, if a player doesn’t play 10 matches a day for years, then there is simply no need for a higher rating.
It is worth noting that many former esports players share this opinion and say that after passing the 8k MMR mark, the enjoyment of the game is often lost altogether.
Earlier, a well-known streamer called on
Team Spirit to make a reshuffle, naming the reason.
