Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Khertek stated that he switched to the support position at
BetBoom Team because he wanted to play on the same team as Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko and Vitaly “Save-” Melnik.
The player made this statement on Twitch.
“Why did I switch to the five position? Because after I left Spirit, there was an opportunity to play with Nightfall and Save. They were my homies back then, so I moved to the ‘five.’ Then, after BetBoom Team, I decided to go to the three position because I wanted to play mid. That’s pretty much how it went.”
According to Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Hertek, after leaving
Team Spirit, where he played mid, the player decided to switch to the support role so he could be on the same team as his friends. However, when he left
BetBoom Team, he wanted to play core-possition, which is why he became an offlaner.
As a reminder, Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Hertek previously commented on his removal from
OG, stating that he had considered ending his career.
