“I never thought about how it happened that my gameplay became so unusual and different from others. I think the main reason is that I quickly lose interest. That's why I always had to look for other options to do something interesting.”

According to Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen, he became one of the first players of a new generation that is distinguished by a deeper approach to understanding Dota 2 game strategies. The esports player noted that during TI8 and TI9, many representatives of the pro scene were overly stubborn and conservative, which is why they did not want to radically change their gameplay. Nevertheless, in modern Dota 2, Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen considers himself a mediocre player, but still tries to show good gameplay with unpopular heroes.

“During TI8 and TI9, many players were too stubborn and conservative. Perhaps I was the first player of the new generation who really thought a little deeper about all these heroes and how to play Dota 2. That was the case then, but now I'm just one of many. I still try to play well on any random nonsense, but it usually turns out badly.”
