Thour said that Valve have abandoned cases in CS2

Avi “Thour” Thour, a well-known dataminer, said that Valve have already stopped releasing cases in CS2 and moved to the Terminal system, which according to him is proven by the latest Dead Hand collection.

He wrote about this on his page in X.

“Now that the Terminal Package includes the latest collection of gloves and knives, my belief that cases are no more has become even stronger. Rest in peace, cases: August 14, 2013 – March 31, 2025”

It is worth noting that Thour’s assumption has not been officially confirmed by the developers, but the last time cases were added to the game was back in March 2025. In other words, almost a year has passed since the appearance of the Fever Case in the game, which became the last case set.
