Thour revealed when Cache may appear in CS2

Thour said that Valve might add Cache to the CS2 map pool somewhere between May 7 and May 14.

He wrote about this on his X page

“I think Cache will release somewhere between May 7–14 2026 based on previous releases. First the map will be added to competitive mode then most likely it will replace Overpass in Premier Season 5 after the Major”

According to him the map will first be available in competitive mode and only later added to Premier after the Major. He also thinks that the updated version will replace Overpass in the fifth season of CS2. Many people in the community are waiting for the return of the map from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and the developers themselves were hinting at it in their account.

However there still was no official announcement and it is not clear when the map will actually appear in the game map pool.
