Thorin tore into ZywOo, explaining who really deserves credit for his success

Duncan “Thorin” Shields stated that fans overrate Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut’s role in Team Vitality, giving him more credit than he actually deserves.

The strong statement was posted on the CS2 commentator’s X page.

“The amount of completely imaginary credit ZywOo is getting at this point is hilarious. He's the secret IGL, coach and psychologist of his team and he never goes for a frag cos he's too busy setting up players he barely interacts with on the map’”

Thorin admitted that he’s annoyed by the constant praise of ZywOo, as fans attribute more to the player than he actually does. In his opinion, while the esports player does play well, he does not perform the roles of coach, player, and psychologist all at once.

According to him, ZywOo sometimes has less successful matches, but fans blame his teammates for the failures, rather than the star player himself. The analyst reminded that Team Vitality’s success is not only due to ZywOo, but also to the contributions of other team members.
