Thorin Predicts the Winner of the BLAST Bounty Summer Counter-Strike 2 Tournament

Duncan “Thorin” Shields considers Team Spirit the top favorite for the BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 Counter-Strike 2 tournament.

The player’s statement was posted on Telegram.

“I have to say, I’m betting on Spirit to win. I think this format suits them well because they’re pretty resilient when an underdog picks them.

If Donk is on fire, then the map and the opponent don’t really matter anymore. I’ve seen them win insane rounds that ended in their favor against all logic.”

According to Duncan “Thorin” Shields, if Danil “donk” Kryshkovets is playing at a high level, the team is capable of beating any opponent on any map. Team Spirit secured a spot in the main stage of BLAST Bounty Summer by winning the LAN qualifier, in which underdogs could choose their opponent from among the favorite teams.

As a reminder, Dmitry “Sh1ro” Sokolov previously praised Boris “magixx” Vorobyov in his role as Team Spirit’s captain.
