Duncan “Thorin” Shields believes that Maxim “Kyousuke” Lukin is still a rookie in professional CS2, which is why his results cannot always live up to inflated expectations.
The analyst shared this opinion on his personal X page.
“People forget that Kyousuke has spent less than a year and a half at the Tier 1 level. In terms of experience, he’s still a rookie, and most rookies rarely make it to the semifinals at major tournaments. And certainly not with such high expectations.”
