Thorin called Molodoy the worst sniper on the pro scene, stating that the player is overrated

Duncan “Thorin” Shields believes that fans have greatly overrated Danil “molodoy” Golubenko following a few major victories.

The analyst shared this opinion on YouTube.

“One of the main questions for Furia is Molodoy. People saw him have two or three good tournaments and decided he’s the next M0neys or Zywoo. They thought Molodoy would be able to put up similar numbers at every tournament.

That’s unrealistic because he lacks competitive experience. Many people don’t remember, but Furia brought in Ekindar to translate everything into Russian for Molodoy, even though the rest of the team had switched to English.

It’s also worth considering Molodoy’s skill level without the AWP. M0nesy and ZywOo have high ratings because they can play well with rifles, not just the AWP. The same can be said about Sh1ro.

Molodoy is one of the worst riflemen among snipers. He starts to struggle when he doesn’t get the AWP. It seems to me that people expect too much from him, considering he’s been playing at Tier 1 for just over a year.”

According to Duncan “Thorin” Shields, based on a few major victories, fans have decided that Danil “molodoy” Golubenko will be able to replicate the success of M0ney or ZywOo. However, the esports player is far from their level, as he is unable to put up solid stats when playing without the AWP. The analyst considers molodoy one of the worst riflemen among CS2 pro-scene snipers.
