Duncan “Thorin” Shields said there were possible violations from FURIA Esports during an elimination match at BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026.
He spoke about this during a podcast.
According to Thorin, in the match there were several suspicious moments that raise questions about FURIA’s fairness.
“YEKINDAR hit his mouse on the table. The mouse didn’t break, because he was ready to keep playing with it after like 30 seconds, but suddenly there was a long technical pause.
After that, KSCERATO just stood up like crazy and rushed to the toilet. What a coincidence, that your player breaks a mouse at the moment when you really need to go to toilet.
We know that during a technical pause it’s forbidden to talk about anything. In such an important match, this extra timeout was very important. And during the pause you can see how Gabriel Toledo, who is the captain, just turns and спокойно talks with his teammates”
Thorin also reminded that teams with FalleN were involved in scandals before. Back in 2017, Epitacio de Melo was sending information to the team in chat during a technical pause.
However, even if there was cheating, it didn’t help the team, and FURIA were eliminated from the tournament. There is still no official confirmation of rule violations, and tournament organizers have not commented the situation.
