The number of participants at TI11 will be increased

Commentator Shannon «SUNSfan» Scotten on Twitch shared information that Valve plans to increase the number of participants at The International 2022 to 20 teams.

According to SUNSfan, 12 teams that take 2nd and 3rd places in the closed regional qualifiers will compete for the last two slots at TI11. So 20 teams will make it to The International instead of 18.
