Wang “Ame” Chun-yu became the most popular Dota 2 player after his incredible performance at The International 2025. It is noteworthy that this title previously belonged to Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk.

Despite losing in the grand final, Ame topped the ranking of the most popular players, while Yatoro did not even make it into the top 5. Interestingly, despite Ame's popularity, Xtreme Gaming lost the top spot to Team Falcons, who became TI14 champions.
