Three teams from Eastern Europe have guaranteed a place at The International 2023: Team Spirit, 9Pandas and BetBoom Team.
Team Spirit and 9Pandas have gained enough DPC points after the end of the group stage of Bali Major 2023. Today, another roster will join them in the fight at The International 12 - BetBoom Team.
BetBoom Team defeated Tundra Esports in a tense fight in the upper bracket of the Bali Major 2023 playoffs, guaranteeing themselves a minimum of 5th-6th places in the tournament and, most importantly, 400 DPC points.

The last time 3 teams from Eastern Europe/CIS participated in The International was in 2015: Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro and Team Empire.
Bali Major 2023 is taking place at Ayana Estate, Bali, from June 29 to July 9. 18 best teams, based on the results of the Dota Pro Circuit Tour 3, are participating in the tournament. The Dota 2 Major prize pool is $500,000 and 3500 DPC points.
The International 12 will take place in Seattle on October 12 to 29. 20 best Dota 2 teams based on the results of Dota Pro Circuit 2023 will participate at the main Dota 2 tournament.
