The International 2020 prize pool has reached $36,000,000.

$36,000,000 prize pool was reached in 105 days after the release of the Battle Pass 2020. The last rise came on September 5, with the release of the Arcana on Windranger. On August 26, the Dota 2 community broke last year's prize pool record $34,330,068 of The International 10.

Prize Pool

The first major hike came after the release of the Battle Level Bundle, which included a set of 120 Battle Pass levels and various Immortal Treasures. During this promotion, The International prize pool has grown by $8,000,000.

The reason for the second hike was the release of Collector's Cache 2020, which includes 18 different sets that were selected by a user vote.

11 days left until the end of the Battle Pass, and the prize pool is set to grow a bit further, given the expected Immortal Treasure III. But it is unlikely that this will greatly increase the prize pool, and it is unlikely that the next $40 million milestone will be reached. Unfortunately, this also means that players will not receive another 10 free Battle Pass levels unless Valve changes plans.
