Incredible surprise at The International 2024 Finals: what Valve has prepared

At The International 2024 finals, Valve might surprise fans with something incredible. Besides announcing the next Dota 2 hero, the developers could, for the first time in the game's history, release a patch right in the middle of the world championship.

This is hinted at by the mysterious facet of the new hero, Ringmaster.

The facet, Center Stage, currently does nothing, as indicated in the hero's description: "This hero is just getting acquainted with the new stage, so this facet does nothing... for now." The name of the facet might be related to the main stage of The International, which traditionally opens during the finals of the tournament.

It’s possible that a patch or update will be released to reveal Ringmaster's facet and add an element of surprise to the final part of TI13.

However, there have been no official announcements from Valve about this, and the wordplay might just be a coincidence.

As a reminder, Valve has recently released the Compendium 2024 and added the new hero Ringmaster to the game.
