In preparation for The International 2023, the Dota 2 developers have decided to update the in-game store. Now, you can purchase support bundles for the studio employees.
This information was announced on the official Dota 2 website.
There will be several different bundles available for selection, significantly differing in content and price. It's worth noting that 50% of the proceeds will go to the respective commentator or host.
Four types of bundles are offered:
Standard Bundle: Regular sticker = $0.99 USD
Shiny Bundle: Shiny sticker + chat wheel phrase = $4.99 USD
Holographic Bundle: Holographic sticker + chat wheel phrase + autograph rune = $9.99 USD
Golden Bundle: Golden sticker + chat wheel phrase + autograph rune + a second phrase = $19.99 USD.
Interestingly, while 25% of the Compendium contributes to the TI12 prize pool, benefiting esports players, 50% of the profit goes to hosts and commentators. How clubs will react to Valve's decision remains unclear.
