Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, however, stated that Dota 2 has a “50% system” which operates in matchmaking.
During a Twitch stream, the manager of
Team Spirit said:
“The 50% system? Well, it certainly exists; it’s only logical. It isn’t very mighty but the fact of its existence is pretty reasonable to me. If you are constantly playing Dota you will go up to a certain point. Indeed, it does exist”
Furthermore, players have been having doubts about the “50% system” existing in Dota 2 and preventing one from winning continuously in Dota 2 matchmaking games. After some number of victories game starts matching people with less skilled teammates who ruin everything for them. Korb3n confirmed this statement as logical and indicated that infinite climbing is impossible in Dota 2 because of this.
Many players claim they regularly end up with teammates who make winning nearly impossible after four or five wins in a row – although no specific algorithms or hidden features have been officially confirmed yet.
Remember how once Yatoro suddenly blamed Valve for
Team Liquid Player on his tweet towards the end of the match.
