Dmitry «Korb3n» Belov, manager of
Team Spirit, is happy that Dota 2 finally got its first crossover and likes the crafting system from Monster Hunter, but he doesn’t understand why they added a piggy pet at the base.
He shared his opinion about the update during a Twitch stream.
“Here you will craft gear from heroes you defeated. Actually, the idea is cool. Cool idea that different heroes drop different gear. The idea is normal, how it’s implemented I don’t know, but it’s clear that you’ll need to grind it a lot, but overall everything seems simple, as I understand. Why am I even showing off – any crossover in Dota is great”
Korb3n finds the idea of getting materials from heroes to craft your own items in Dota 2 interesting. However, he understands that this process will require a lot of grinding. The manager is very pleased with the crossover, but thinks maybe the game needs crossovers with more popular projects.
Nevertheless, Korb3n emphasized why they added the piggy pet to the game, but he doesn’t understand why this pig is needed at the base at all.
Recall that earlier Valve launched the Dota 2 x Monster Hunter crossover, adding new sets, the Hero Atlas, and crafting to the game.
