Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov called the organizers of BLAST Slam 4 clowns because they banned Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk from playing in the
Yellow Submarine qualifiers.
The
Team Spirit manager spoke about the situation during a broadcast on Twitch.
"Forget it, the BLAST organizers are clowns. It's the same old story at BLAST: everyone is equal, but some are more equal than others. That's all. Some can, others can't. And it's funny that BLAST said, in order to get out of their own stupid rules, that you can't stand in, but if, for example, Yatoro was in the starting lineup, then you could"
Korb3n noted that the organizers acted unfairly by prohibiting Yatoro from being a stand-in. According to him, BLAST simply began to wriggle out of their own rules, although other teams were not subject to such restrictions.
“This is obviously absurd, invented solely to get out of a situation they got themselves into. Because there are teams on BLAST whose players will play the new season of the same BLAST in different lineups. But these teams are allowed to do so because they are core players. BLAST came up with this nonsense to justify their own stupid rules”
The fact is that Yatoro was registered as a stand-in for
Yellow Submarine in the BLAST Slam 4 qualifiers. However, he was not allowed to play for the team, citing the tournament rules and appealing to the fact that he was registered in the main roster of
Team Spirit, who received a direct invite to the tournament.
