Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov believes that replacing Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp with Arman “Malady” Orazbayev may benefit the
Gaimin Gladiators Dota 2 roster in the short term, but then the team will start playing worse.
The
Team Spirit manager shared his opinion on Twitch.
“What do I think? I think it's bad in the distance. They won something there. Probably going to play well now. Some sort of candy-buquet period will pass. Maybe Watson will have some unreal synergy with him, they'll take everyone out, but it should be bad at some more or less middle distance.”
According to Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, he found out about Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp's upcoming replacement in
Gaimin Gladiators in advance, when there were rumors that the team might kick Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov. However, the
Team Spirit manager does not know who was the real instigator of such a decision.
“I believe that I can already lift the veil of secrecy. After BetBoom Dacha, when everyone was talking about Watson, I heard and knew about Seleri. It's unclear here: is this a kick or is Seleri getting fed up? Nobody explained anything to us.”
As a reminder, Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp had earlier personally commented on the situation with his departure from
Gaimin Gladiators.
