Team Spirit surprised fans with plans for the next Dota 2 season

Team Spirit, after winning The International 2023, will take a break until the New Year, and the training sessions will resume in 2024.

Such an unexpected statement was made by Airat "Silent" Gaziev, the coach of Team Spirit, during an interview with the INDE publication.

"Until the New Year, we have weekends, and I will try to take care of my health or just relax. Weekends for us are not so frequent"

It is worth noting that fans were dismayed by the fact that the world champions in Dota 2 not only skipped the first major tournament after TI12 - ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 but also won't be practicing until the next year.

Recall that Team Spirit dropped out of the top four teams in terms of EPT points, and now they will have to go through the qualifiers to make it to the next major tournament organized by ESL.
