Mark "sikle" Lerman, an analyst for
Team Spirit, admitted that before joining the team, he didn't even have enough money to buy food, but he was suddenly saved by Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidyonov.
The analyst shared this revelation in an interview with Dota2.ru.
"At some point during the streams, I couldn't even afford to buy groceries, so I was desperately looking for work. I was absolutely ready to give up playing just to find a way to earn some money. I simultaneously tried translation work - working in my profession. However, I didn't abandon the idea of Dota 2 and wrote to all the familiar players. No one agreed"
Despite the financial situation, sikle wasn't ready to give up on Dota 2. The only person who responded to his plea for help was Miposhka, who directed him to Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, the manager of
Team Spirit.
"Miposhka also wrote - we had already communicated before. He advised me to contact Korb3n, and from there, things started rolling. They had been considering me for a while, so they already knew everything"
It turned out that sikle had already been considered for the analyst position, so he soon officially joined the organization. This not only saved sikle but also brought an experienced Dota 2 player to
Team Spirit, who was able to prepare the team for numerous encounters with opponents at tournaments.
Recall that earlier sikle predicted who could become the best hero for supports in the next Dota 2 patch.
