Team Spirit shared when Valve might release a new patch for Dota 2

Mark “Sikle” Lerman stated that this week Valve might release an update or even a full patch for Dota 2, possibly alongside an event or a new chest dedicated to the Chinese New Year.

The Team Spirit analyst wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

“We are now waiting this week for either an event, or an update and a chest. Traditionally, patches are often released during DreamLeague”

Sikle подчеркнул that the developers might even release not just a small update, but a full patch, since traditionally they tend to drop them during DreamLeague. It is worth noting that quite often major updates come out on the break day between the group stage and the playoffs of this tournament series.

However Valve have not made any official announcements yet so it is still unclear when exactly the event or update should be expected.
