Vyacheslav "Art1st" Lyadnov, the host of Team Spirit, shared that to break into esports, it's essential to socialize extensively and make the right connections. Additionally, one should be prepared for Dota 2 to consume almost all of their time for several years.

He discussed this in a new video on the KD CAST YouTube channel.

"You need to make contacts and play a lot. You have to understand that your entire life for the next 5-6 years will be dedicated solely to the game, and you must be ready for that, as well as for failure. When I started playing, I had no Plan B—either I would die or become a pro player, and as you can see, I didn’t die, so I got lucky. It's very important to be able to connect with people"

He emphasized that a career as a pro player is not an easy path. You need to dedicate several years to Dota 2 to achieve success on the pro scene. Furthermore, to break into a team, you will need connections, so Art1st recommends getting to know people and not being afraid to socialize to build the necessary network.

It’s worth noting that Ilya "ALOHADANCE" Korobkin previously mentioned that Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk learned to play Dota 2 by watching his replays.
