Team Spirit set two world records in Dota 2: a historic moment

Team Spirit has managed to win 21 matches in a row and complete a 31-game undefeated streak on the professional Dota 2 scene. The team has broken two world records, establishing themselves as one of the best squads in the history of the game.

The achievement was shared by the organization on their Telegram channel.

The last time Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk's team suffered a defeat was in July 2023 during the group stage of Riyadh Masters 2023. Back then, they lost to PSG Quest. However, they went on to win Riyadh Masters 2023, DreamLeague Season 21, and became world champions at The International 2023.

Following that, Team Spirit went undefeated in DreamLeague Season 22 and ESL One Birmingham 2024. Their winning streak continues at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024. It's worth noting that the team has yet to break another record for the most consecutive map victories.

Currently, that record is held by Newbee, who managed to go 28 maps undefeated. Team Spirit is still far from breaking this record, as their current streak stands at just 4 maps without a loss.
