Nikita “Cheshir” Chukalin, CEO of
Team Spirit, stated that the new Dota 2 roster will be able to compete effectively on the Dota 2 Tier-1 scene in 6 - 9 months, as this is a standard adaptation period for a new team.
The corresponding statement was made by the club leader in his personal Telegram channel, answering a fan's question about whether the new squad will be able to play effectively on the tier -1 scene.
“We will be able to, the period of release to efficiency for the lineup in dota is 6-9 months.”
Team Spirit's lineup with Alan “Satanic” Galliamov and Alexander “rue” Filin has so far only been able to prove themselves as part of the qualification for DreamLeague Season 24, when the team won a slot at the main tournament on the lower grid, losing their first match against the
BandaNoone lineup. However, after losing their first match,
Team Spirit were able to beat all other opponents within the qualification.
It is worth noting that fans were skeptical of the new players, and Dota 2 roster manager Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov admitted that
Team Spirit are not a Dota 2 tier-1 team at the moment.
