Team Spirit analyst proposes new hero interaction mechanics for Dota 2

Mark “sikle” Lerman proposed changing the system of interaction between hero attributes in Dota 2.
The
Team Spirit analyst shared his opinion on Telegram.
“I would remove the intelligence bonus for mages. I would introduce new mechanics for interaction between heroes. Strength heroes would take more damage from agility heroes, but would deal more damage to mages, mages would deal more damage to strength heroes, and so on.”
In the current Dota 2 meta, attribute bonuses work differently. Strength heroes gain health and regeneration, making them more survivable and resistant to physical and magical damage. Agility heroes have increased attack speed and armor, which helps them in prolonged battles and gives them an advantage against characters that rely on physical attacks. Intelligence heroes gain more mana, regeneration, and, as an added bonus, magic resistance, allowing them to use spells more effectively and survive against magical damage.
