A Team Spirit participant criticized Gaimin Gladiators' preparation level ahead of their clash at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024

Denis "Larl" Sigitov hopes for an easy victory for Team Spirit over Gaimin Gladiators, as he believes the opponent is currently not in the best form.

The corresponding statement from the Team Spirit midlaner was made in a video on the organization's official Twitter account.

"We've watched the opponents' replays. Ready for the match. Hopefully, the games will be easy, like at the Intel. Gaimin Gladiators are not in the best form compared to how they were in 2023. They were performing well at the beginning and middle of the season. Now the team is making many mistakes. Maybe they have some heroes' draft underrated."

At BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, Gaimin Gladiators and Team Spirit ended up in different groups. Gaimin Gladiators played in Group A, where four teams, securing slots in the playoffs, showed identical results in map statistics, leading to organizers announcing a rematch. Team Spirit took second place in their group with six won maps. During the rematch, the midlaners of Gaimin Gladiators and Team Falcons declined to play as both teams didn't want to face Team Spirit in the first playoff game. As a result of mutual refusal, the teams were assigned using a coin flip.
