Nikita “Panto” Balaganin, the captain of
Team Spirit, noted that they could have beaten
MOUZ, but they lacked the skill and could also have drafted a bit better.
He talked about this in the club’s Telegram channel
“Hey everyone. We lost the grand final to MOUZ 2:3. The series was very intense. I think on the fifth map we could have drafted and played a bit better. On the 12th minute it felt like it was going to be a very easy game for us but… We take second place. Thanks to everyone who supported us during the tournament. We felt it. We’ll try to take first place next time”
Panto mentioned that the match against
MOUZ in the PGL Wallachia 6 grand final was tough, and until the very end it wasn’t clear who would win. According to him, on the decisive fifth map
Team Spirit lacked execution, and they also could have picked better heroes.
Nevertheless, the captain emphasized that up to the 12-minute mark it seemed like they would easily run over their opponents and win the Dota 2 tournament. In the end, the series finished 3:2, and
MOUZ became the PGL Wallachia 6 champions.
