Team Spirit may deliberately lose the final matches of DreamLeague Season 21 for a winning position at TI12. This opinion was shared by the Dota 2 analyst Zoresl on his Telegram channel. 

The matter is that Team Spirit's Support, Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov, gave a brief interview at DreamLeague S21 in which he made a rather controversial statement. 

When asked: if Team Spirit is ready to conquer The International?

Mira responded as follows: "I don't know. Right now, we're just taking it easy. Before the start of this tournament, we agreed that we wouldn't go all out and would just relax, see how far we can get. We don't even have a strong desire to win because winning this tournament could lead to defeat at TI" 

In the internet noted this detail, emphasizing that it might be advantageous for the team to lose their games to save their winning strategies for The International 2023. However, on the other hand, some consider Spirit as favorites to win DreamLeague S21.
