Team Spirit Manager Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov was shocked to see a
Tundra Esports roster without Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko, replaced instead by Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov, and the ugliest part of it all was the fact that he questions whether the change was worth it for the team.
He shared these thoughts with the people via a Twitch stream.
“To be honest, I don’t know if this is a good switch or not. I think that it is impossible to tell it in advance. Aside from Gaimin Gladiators, we have not seen Dyrachyo play anywhere. They did not place better than top 9-12 before Quinn came by quite a lot. So it is a tricky question. But Tundra is already strong without Dyrachyo. What would 33 and bzm perform in core roles will be interesting to see”
Korb3n continues by talking about how there is no real case study of Dyrachyo playing on the new team due to how limited his time with other places has been barring
Gaimin Gladiators. There also seems to be a consensus that GG signed Dyrachyo over other players because they wanted success.
The manager’s biggest shock towards
Tundra Esports was their decision to drop Nightfall, from what Korb3n says he believes there’s a possibility that Nightfall did not fit the team’s chemistry. Roster changes are always risky business, however it will be intriguing to see how the new lineup plays out and how they trust each other with roles.
Before,
Tundra Esports announced Dyrachyo to be their new carry.
