Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, manager of
Team Spirit, defended the organizers of the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational who fined
Azure Ray player Yu "Siamese.C" Yajun, calling the criticism towards them unjustified.
He commented on the controversial situation in his Telegram channel.
"What are the commentators saying? Different tournament organizers have different rulebooks, and therefore different penalties for the same violation. Let's also compare penalties for finding money between toes in different countries. In the UAE, you get 10 years behind bars, in Russia, you get nothing"
He explained that he finds the wave of criticism towards the organizers strange, as they are supposedly too lenient in punishing Siamese.C for breaking the tournament rules. According to him, it is impossible to compare this tournament with an event in Bali, as the organizations have different rulebooks, so the penalty differs from the situation with Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko.
Additionally, Korb3n emphasized that he considers the decision to award a technical loss to Pure's team for watching a stream during the tournament as absurd.
It is worth noting that earlier, the organizers of the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational were accused of double standards due to the penalty imposed on the
Azure Ray player, who opened a stream in the middle of an official match.
