Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov said that after the failure at BLAST Slam I
Team Spirit recognized that now they are not a full-fledged team, and some of the roster players realize that they are playing as substitutes, because of which it will be possible to solve the roster problems only after the return of permanent players.
The Team Spirit manager made the corresponding statement on YouTube.
“I guess we have decided our place in the ecosystem. Everyone has found their place in
Team Spirit. From the main one, we stopped hiding to ourselves that we are not a team. That's pretty objective, in my mind, because we have guys on the replacements. We love them a lot, but it's still very difficult to address any issues. These people understand very well that they are not part of the team.”
It is noteworthy that Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov speaks in plural, although at the moment only Abdimalik “Malik” Sailau is playing as a stand-in, replacing Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov in the offliner position. Perhaps the team is considering bringing back another one of the star players.
Earlier Abdimalik “Malik” Sailau said that
Team Spirit did not teach him anything useful in terms of playing Dota 2.
