Team Spirit is shocked by Gabbi's actions: the player may receive a lifetime ban from Valve

Ilya “Illidan” Pivtsev, a streamer for Team Spirit, is shocked by Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte’s actions of placing bets on Dota 2 matches and even post screenshots confirming it.

Illidan shared this on his Telegram channel.

“That’s sick ****. He not only bet but posted them too. That’s something like Smooya in CS”

This could be against the rules of Valve and lead to a lifetime ban for this type of behaviour. However there has been no statement regarding this matter from either PGL or Valve. If the violation is not very serious though, there might be just a warning about it.

Previously, one player from Blacklist International bragged about betting on matches at PGL Wallachia 2024 and also uploaded screenshots.
